Yang (Young) Lin received his B.S. from Peking (Beijing) University in China. He got his M.A. from Morehead State University in Kentucky in 1993, and his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma in 1997. He is currently a Professor at the School of Communication and director of the Confucius Institute at The University of Akron.
